Terms of service
2026-09-01
These terms govern the use of bcards, operated by PLACEHOLDER. Creating an account means accepting them.
The service
bcards lets you create one or more digital business cards reachable by web address, QR code or contactless tag, capture contact details with the consent of the people concerned, and see aggregate statistics.
What is available depends on your plan. The limits that apply are the ones shown in the application.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what is done from your account.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. An account may belong to an organization, in which case that organization's administrators hold rights over the cards it owns.
What you publish
You keep ownership of what you publish and grant us only the right to host and display it for the purposes of the service.
You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to the text, images and trade marks you publish.
Not permitted: impersonation, unlawful or misleading content, content infringing others' rights, and using the service for unsolicited outreach.
Captured contact details
Details captured through a card's form belong to people who are not our users. As the card's holder you are the controller of that data: use it only for the stated purpose, answer deletion requests, and do not pass it to third parties.
We provide the technical means for that: a configurable retention window, permanent deletion, export, and a deletion procedure the people concerned can use without an account.
Suspension and reporting
Any public card can be reported from its own page. A card that is plainly unlawful or impersonates someone may be suspended. A suspended card stops being reachable and can only be restored by us; restoring it returns it to draft, never straight back online.
You keep access to your data during a suspension and can export it.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and incidents can cause interruptions.
We are not liable for content published by users, nor for indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting it removes your cards and the contact details they captured.
We may terminate an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, with notice except in an emergency.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Tunisian law. Disputes fall to the competent courts of the operator's registered seat, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
